Job Title: Donut Factory worker Department: Café

This job description is a general description of essential functions. It is not intended as an employment contract, nor is it intended to describe all duties someone in this position may perform. All employees of Wall Drug Store, Inc. are expected to perform tasks as assigned by Wall Drug Store, Inc. management regardless of the job title or routine job.

Summary: Assist supervisor in Donut Factory by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Carries and distributes supplies such as flour, shortening, pie filling, rolls and baking pans.
  • Mixes, kneads or shapes dough for rolls, donuts, pie crusts, etc.
  • Cuts dough into uniform portions.
  • Greases pans used to bake in and lines pans with waxed paper.
  • Places pans of dough into the oven to bake.
  • Cleans bakery utensils, equipment and work area.
  • Performs other routine kitchen duties.

Education and/or Experience

No prior experience or training. Training is provided.

Language Skills

Must be able to understand and speak conversational English. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

Mathematical Ability

Must be able to operate a point-of-sale system and give change back to the customer. Training is provided. Other Skills and Abilities
